"Makaveli" is an original acrylic portrait of Tupac Shakur, painted under the name he chose for himself in his final chapter — Makaveli, borrowed from Machiavelli, the theorist of power and the long game.

At 24 × 36 inches, this is a mid-size original that brings the D. Gunn portrait style to a more accessible scale and price point. It is one of two Tupac works currently available in the shop (see also "Pages of Makaveli" for the larger, mixed-media version).
